Welcome

This beautiful 19th Century house sits on a small bluff on the edge of the town of Guillestre, offering it a spectacular situation with unrivalled views of the French Alps

With the jagged peaks of the Ecrins range to the north and the daunting gorge du Guil, the doorway to the Queyras, to the east we are ideally situated for access to the best kept secrets in the French Alps. Wonderful climbing, hiking, mountain biking and skiing all around, the greatest rivers in Europe for white water activities, and the Serre Poncon lake, the biggest reservoir in Europe, a haven for water sports.

After a hard day out in the hills, in the summer relax on our sunny terrace with a cool drink and enjoy the peace and tranquillity of this wonderful location. In the winter snuggle up in our comfortable living room by a roaring log fire with a glass of vin chaud and read a good book or watch UK television.
